A Long Island Farm Wedding | Shannon Lee Photography

I had the pleasure of capturing Kim and Darin’s Wedding. The two of them are so sweet together. They met on Tinder when they both swiped right! They celebrated the beautiful day with their children, family, and friends.

We started the day at the Marriot Residence Inn in Riverhead, NY. I have to say, it was my first time capturing the getting ready photos there and I was very impressed. Very modern and fun hotel. I captured some details of the groom and his soon to be step son getting ready.

What a handsome Groom!

What a handsome Groom!

Next I ventured off to capture the lovely bride, their daughter, and the details with them. One thing that really caught my attention was the girls bouquets. They were made of wood! Gorgeous and lighter than regular flowers. I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were. What a keepsake, I think everyone should have wood flowers! The artist that made them can be found on Etsy here.

This was a must!

Anthony & Stephanie | Lombardis on the Bay | Wedding Photography| Shannon Lee

Congratulations to Anthony and Stephanie who celebrated their love this past weekend at Lombardis on the Bay.

Anthony and Stephanie met at a mutual friend's party and it was clear from the start that they had a special connection. Stephanie feels that her late father hand picked Anthony from up above just for her.  Ever since then, these two have been inseparable. Unless of course, that is if Anthony is scheduled to leave on deployment with the United States Air Force. He was scheduled to leave for tour the week after his wedding, but the day of the wedding, he got an amazing phone call that said he could stay. He has served 3 tours in the past and was very excited to be able to enjoy his honeymoon with his bride.

Stephanie is an amazing part of this partnership. She is the ying to his yang. She is full of life and works as a phlebotomist at St.Charles Hospital.  She wore a gorgeous gown from Fantasia Bridal, located in Rocky Point, Ny.

Lisa Lisa was there as a dear friend of theirs and sang two songs to them during the reception. As a fan of 80's/90's music, I was very excited to witness that.  It was an unbelievable night despite the rain and heavy fog. I wish this couple many years of love and happiness.

I had the pleasure of capturing Caitlyn and John's beautiful wedding on Saturday. They are such a beautiful and loving couple. They got married at The Bluestone Tavern in Sayville, NY. It was a beautiful venue for these two to celebrate their Disney kind of love.

Here is a sneak peek of their beautiful day.

Bride and Groom Outdoor Wedding Long Island

Long Island Wedding Photographer | East Hampton | A Rainy Day Courthouse Wedding

As the date for their wedding approached, the forecast for East Hampton, Long Island was not looking good; chilly and rain. As a Long Island Wedding Photographer I have had great luck on shooting many weddings with plenty of sun. Long Island has some beautiful weather that makes shooting weddings here so much fun. However, despite the gloomy outlook,  I was well prepared for the rain, and I made sure the bride would have what we needed to capture the beautiful day's moments. Marianne, the bride, was not worried at all and was ready for anything. I love when my brides have a laid back approach to their big day. It seems to go much smoother that way, and the brides enjoy their day so much more. When her family hired me to capture her day, they bought my smallest package because it as a small wedding at the courthouse in East Hampton, however, after Marianne and I spoke, I got her so excited about the ideas I had for portraits about town, that they upgraded the package to have more time with me. I am so glad they did!

I was chilly and my socks and shoes were soaked, but it was so worth it.

First we captured some portraits outside of the courthouse.

Then it was time to get married, so off to the courthouse we went.

After the wedding we went around Main St. in East Hampton.

Then I suggest we go to Starbucks down the road for some cute pictures and to warm up.

Once we warmed up, we ventured back outside and I took them into the bookstore, BookHampton, which is so cute and has amazing titles. I suggest you check them out if ever in East Hampton. The staff there was very accommodating to allowing me to capture some fun.

It was such a great day, despite the weather. This couple had fun, even in the rain. I wish them many many years of great love, laughter, and fun!

Long Island Wedding Photographer | Westhampton Beach| All Hallows Eve

When I met Collete to talk about her big day, she was so excited about what she had planned. As A Long Island wedding photographer, photographing a wedding on Halloween Eve is an exciting opportunity. Collete's favorite holiday is Halloween. I love that her husband, Lou, was all game. There were little details in the wedding such as little skulls on the guy's boutonnières and the bride's bouquet. They had a cake that was spookily delightful, filled with red jam to add to the fun and it was topped with a cake topper that resembled Frankenstein and his bride.

They got married in Westhampton Beach in the beautiful gazebo off of Main St.  The weather was beyond amazing, a warm 78 degrees and sunny. It is funny, most brides want sunshine on their big day, but this bride was hoping for rain to add to the day's theme. The wedding didn't go offwithout a hitch. The chairs never arrived from the rental company so the groomsmen had to borrow some chairs from the local church. Thank you United Methodist Church!

The rain did arrive during the reception though and she was afraid that we couldn't do the sparkler send off. But just as the party was winding down, so did the storm. Lou and Collette, along with their beautiful daughters, family, and friends celebrated through out the evening at Mil RoadHouse and they ended the beautiful day with the sparkler send off.
