During the later part of winter and spring I became involved in crossfit at Kryptonite Crossfit in Moriches, NY. Let  me tell you, the benefits of it are amazing. Little did I know however, that an extra bonus would be in store for me. One of my work out partners at the gym, Jamie, was going to be a dad to a newborn baby girl. When he contacted me to do his family's portraits  I was elated. Its amazing the relationship you can make while working towards your health. 

I believe in including the entire family in the newborn photo session. With an in home lifestyle session, or a studio session. This is a special time for everyone, especially the siblings. I don't believe in just having the baby photographed unless it is the desire of the family, however I find that is never the case. 

I am very excited to show off this family newborn session! Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl. She is the perfect addition to your family.

All About The Details | Full Service Photographer | Long Island

There is one thing I love almost just as much as taking photographs of my amazing clients; its delivering their print products. I get so excited to hand over the customized print products that they order during our special reveal night. From wall art that they will hang on the walls, to albums they will display on their coffee tables, and the beautiful prints they will treasure forever, it makes my heart sing to know that they will have tangible items to cherish their precious family portraits that will last a lifetime because they are heirloom quality. Three Generations Newborn Portrait Session |Long Island, NY

Newborn babies are precious and a cause for celebration. This little doll, Makenzie, had her parents, Grandmothers, and Great Grandma all present at her newborn photography session. I had so much fun capturing three generations of this family. One Grandma comes from Alaska and the other Grandma is from Kansas! Leave it to such a special occasion to bring everyone together. Along with her Daddy, who is stationed her on Long Island for the Air-force, Makenzie rocked this shoot. 

This tie back looks so great on her. I personally made it just for her session. She is so beautiful!

I get absolutely giddy when I get to capture a lifestyle session in my clients home. Especially when it is welcoming home a newborn baby. During the winter months on Long Island, it can get cold and wet, so no better place to capture the essence of what makes a family theirs, than their own home. Come take a peek into this family's home and the joy, happiness, and love that lives there.
